On February 26, 2026, Karin Binder will hold a training course for mathematics teachers in Erfurt during the 32nd Days of Mathematics and Science Teaching, entitled “Understanding conditional probabilities – the benefits of visualizations, typical student errors, and language-sensitive teaching.”

We are saying goodbye to our highly valued colleague Raphael Müller and would like to thank him very much for his valuable contribution.

The Future Forum for Educational Research of the Graduate Academy of Universities of Education will take place on 7th and 8th of November in Schwäbisch Gmünd. Johannes Hellmund will present a talk with the title „Risk comprehension and perceptions of pre-service teachers towards central concepts of financial education".

The research article "Online self-assessments and student engagement: a causal analysis in university mathematics" by authors Stefan Büchele, Lisa Feiste, Raphael Müller und Mirko Schürmann is published in the journal Education and Information Technologies.
